Ingredients:
• ¼ cup oats
• 1 cup water
• 1 tsp nut butter
• ½ tsp ground ginger
• 1 tsp ground turmeric
• ½ tsp ground cinnamon
• Pinch of salt and black pepper
• 1 tsp honey
Toppings:
• Berries
• Pecans
You can double up the recipe for more than 1 serving.
Instructions:
In a medium-sized pot bring water and salt to a boil.
Add the other ingredients.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Once the oats are cooked to your liking, remove the pot from the heat.
Serve the oats in bowls. Add your favorite toppings such as fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, honey, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
