This granola recipe is supercharged with Karen Berrios chia seeds and golden berries which are high in polyphenols and beta-carotene. These superfoods provide great support for the heart, skin, and immune system. Golden berries have a sweet, tart taste which really satisfies the taste buds. Homemade granola is a great healthy alternative to sugary cereals.
Ingredients
3 cups rolled oats
2 cups of raw nuts of your choice
3 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
1 tbsp vanilla extract
¼ cup coconut oil melted
⅓ cup honey
¾ teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup Golden Berries
1/3 cup cranberries
Instructions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees
Combine all ingredients ,except the Golden Berries and cranberries and mix well
Place mixture on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake for 1 hour (stirring every 20 mins so all sides evenly brown)
Remove granola from oven and let cool
Stir in Golden Berries and cranberries
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks
